Privacy Policy

There are three forms: the project enquiry on Get a Quote, the question form on Contact, and a short consultation form near the foot of the homepage.

What each one asks for

• Project enquiry: first name, last name, phone, email, the ZIP code the work would happen in, the type of project, and a description. Optionally a preferred contact method and a rough timescale.
• Contact question: name, email, an optional phone number, and your question.
• Homepage consultation: name, phone, email, a service of interest and any project details.

None of them asks for a street address, a budget, a date of birth, an account number or any financial detail, and none should be used to send documents. There is nothing at enquiry stage that needs them.

What happens when you press submit

The fields listed above are sent to Formspree, a form-handling service, which forwards them to us by email. Formspree is operated by Formspree, Inc. in the United States, so if you are writing from outside the US your enquiry is processed there. They act as a processor for us: they pass the message on and do not use it for their own purposes. Their handling of it is governed by Formspree's privacy policy.

Nothing is transmitted until you press submit. Filling a field, or leaving the page without submitting, sends nothing anywhere. In the ordinary course, Formspree also records the technical details any web request carries — your IP address and browser user-agent — as part of receiving and spam-filtering the submission.

If that service cannot be reached, the form falls back to opening a pre-addressed draft in your own email application, and nothing reaches us until you press send there. The page says which of the two happened rather than showing a "thank you" for a message that never left.

A practical consequence worth knowing either way: your enquiry ends up as an ordinary email in our inbox, subject to our email provider's terms.

If that changes again

If we move to a different form-handling service, this page will be updated to name the new provider before the change goes live — as it was for the one named above.

What we do with an enquiry

We read it, reply to it, and keep it as ordinary business correspondence for as long as it is useful — a record of what was discussed, which matters if a project follows. It is not sold, rented, traded or passed to a marketing company. Nobody gets subscribed to anything either — no such list exists to be added to.
